About the congress
THE FIRST TRADE CONGRESS ON INNOVATIVE MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGIES FOR E-MOBILITY COMPONENTS
The transformation from combustion to e-mobility is bringing massive upheaval for many companies – both for products and for manufacturing technologies. Mechanical components are less in demand, electrical ones all the more so. This applies to the entire chain from component production to charging infrastructure. Robotics are taking on a central role in production: In international competition, the efficiency of manufacturing determines the competitiveness of manufacturers – especially in high-wage countries like Germany. The congress in Ingelheim am Rhein brings together manufacturers of components and vehicles with companies that offer future-proof solutions.
Vehicle and battery manufacturers such as Stellantis, Gotion and BMZ will present what they have already implemented and what systems they need for the manufacturing of the future. Companies such as KUKA, Trumpf and YASKAWA will use case studies to report on solutions that increase manufacturing efficiency. Presentations by leading researchers from RWTH Aachen University in the field of battery research will show what the future holds. The keynote lecture by Prof. Detlef Zühlke, the inventor of the term „Industry 4.0“, will present how the Smart Factory helps to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Panel discussions will give participants the opportunity to talk directly with leading experts in the electromobility industry.
„To ensure that German manufacturers can continue to play at the top, it is important to bundle know-how now – to bring together small and large companies in the industry. That is why we are organizing „Robotics meets eMobility 2023“. The congress is intended to bring market participants in the electromobility industry and robotics closer together.“
